I have multiple levels of experience (as a writer, artist, and designer) to guide you through the process. I’ve been designing and creating blogs and web sites for over ten years, specializing in sites for people with a creative flair: small business owners, writers, artists. People who want a site that recognizes their own individual style and vision, not a cookie-cutter version of everyone else’s. And, they want to do it without breaking the bank.
What do I do?
Everybody tells you that you need a “presence” on the web, right? But what does that mean, exactly?
It means a home on the web where people can find you — whether it’s to share your artwork, promote your writing, or sell your products. But, the trend today seems to be towards sites that are so over-produced that they’re sterile and lack personality, or they are so badly designed that they are hard to read and navigate, let alone find in the search engines (like Google, for example). Or, worst of all, they’re mass produced from templates, cookie cutter sites that all look alike.
None of these is a good thing.
So, let me design a web site for you that will combine all the appropriate elements — your personality, the needs of your business, the requirements of the search engines, etc. — and do it in such a way that it all makes sense to you.
